Study Tour

On this website you can find additional information about the master course Orientation on International Scientific Careers, participating companies and it's concluding Study Tour. This year we are going to Berlin as our final destinantion. 

 

The master-course ''Orientation on International Scientific Careers'' and the studytour are organized by GLV Idun in close collaboration with the University of Groningen. Only twenty students can participate in the course. In the first part of the course, the participants will work in teams to solve a specific case study. The topics for these case studies are provided by the international companies that participate in the course. During the Study Tour the students will present their work at a one day visit to the participating companies.

This year the cases will be ecological, marine biological, molecular and environmentally oriented. Stay tuned for info, as the site will be up to date asap!

 

The GLV Idun Study Tour is the concluding part of the Master course Orientation on International Scientific Careers (5 ECTS) for students in Biology and Life Sciences & Technology. The main goal of the Study Tour is to provide insight in the opportunities for a career at an international company.

 

The course will start in the third semester, on februari 15.
